Promenades autour d'Apt ::: Wandering around Apt

Le chapitre Provence est maintenant clos (jusqu'à la prochaine fois!), et même si je n'ai pas bougé beaucoup durant les trois dernières semaines, j'ai terminé mes vacances satisfaite et prête à passer à la prochaine étape. J'ai collectionné les images au détour de nos promenades quotidiennes à Apt et dans la campagne environnante, avec en finale une visite éclair en compagnie de Julien qui m'a fait voir quelques uns de ses endroits préférés (une rue de moins d'un mètre de large, des pavés romains d'origine, un pont éponyme et une deux-chevaux mystérieusement échouée dans la pinède de sa grand-mère il y a bien un demi-siècle).

La suite me portera demain du côté de l'Atlantique qui est encore «chez moi» même si je l'ai quitté il y a fort longtemps (il me semble)... Un retour aux sources s'impose pour réajuster le tir et commencer la nouvelle année sur le bon continent. Reste à décider duquel il s'agit.

The Provence chapter is now closed (until next time!), and even though I haven't done much over the last three weeks, I am now feeling satisfied and ready for the next step. I gathered images during my daily walks in and around Apt, and finished on a high note with a whirlwind visit with Julien who showed me his favourite bits (a street less than a metre wide, authentic Roman paved roads, an eponymous bridge, and a mysterious 2CV car stranded in his grandmother's pinewood more than half a century ago).

The next step is crossing the Atlantic again tomorrow, to the side that I still call "home" even though I left such a long time ago (or so it feels)... I need to get back to my roots in order to clear my head and start the New Year on the right continent. I just have to decide which one that is.
